Christopher Gibbs – Founder & CEO

MyFanFaves was founded by Christopher Gibbs. Gibbs serves as the CEO and has personally funded the development of the website. He has a business degree from the University of San Diego, worked for the LAOOC during 1984 Olympics, then began working for Mutual of New York and continues today to be a licensed broker mainly selling insurance to professional jockeys and golfers, during the following 10 years he was an institutional stockbroker, independent movie, television and video producer, and founding majority owner of the Long Beach Barracuda in the Western Baseball League. In 2001, he created a national family health insurance program for the Jockeys’ Guild at a time when their coverage had been cancelled and no carriers would cover the group. Most recently, he developed and operates the College Golf Combines, which provides opportunities for high school golfers to gain exposure to and be evaluated by college golf coaches.

Buck Bohac – CIO
North Carolina
Buck brings a wide array of management and entrepreneurial experience in business and information technology, As a founder of three technology companies, he has managed software development and strategic partnerships with companies ranging from large enterprise such as IBM to small Mom and Pop shops worldwide. He has extensive knowledge in building data intensive software applications in a diverse range of industries including medical and scientific research, health management, golf, horse racing and more. Buck holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, still resides in North Carolina and enjoys being outdoors, playing the guitar and learning anything new.

Tobin Smith – Senior Programmer
North Carolina
Tobin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from Seton Hill University in 1997. After some years of teaching and playing music, he accepted a web development position with the Chesapeake Bay Program in Maryland. Eventually Tobin relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina, where he currently works as a web developer/programmer and musician. Tobin mainly focuses on rich web application development utilizing both server- and client-side languages and server databases. As technology has changed he has adapted his skill set to port these type of applications to various devices, primarily applying responsive web design techniques to create cross-platform and device solutions as an alternative to more costly and redundant mobile apps.
